IRIS 4 is a four-function multi-laser device housed in a redesigned 7075 aluminum shell that is 43% lighter, 29% shorter, and 28% narrower than the previous model. IRIS 4 now features a powerful 60mW infrared (IR) illuminator and a 1,000 lumen / 25,000 candela white light, along with a VIS (visible) laser pointer and an infrared (IR) laser pointer. Additionally, it has independent fire buttons for ambidextrous activation of the lasers and white light in both momentary and constant ON modes. IRIS 4 also includes an improved rear-facing power and mode selector switch for better ergonomics and feel. A new three-button remote activation switch is included, which features a VIS override function.
