DXT2 Big Dot sights focus attention on the front sight by using a high-contrast front and a V-notch rear for an unobstructed view. The front sights feature a patent-pending glow dot that absorbs light and glows in low light before it becomes dark enough to see the tritium. Optic Orange is designed to deliver a high-contrast sight picture in bright conditions and maintain visibility as light diminishes. To ensure visibility in low light when uncharged, optic orange mainly relies on yellow with a touch of red. The larger surface area of the convex dot enhances light absorption, boosting the glow’s brightness. The “”dot-the-i”” sight picture, with a tritium dot on the front sight and a tritium bar on the rear, helps prevent confusion of the sights during high-stress situations. The wide field of view improves visibility of both the front sight and the threat downrange.
